Heriansyah Putra is a Associate Professor in Geotechnics at the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering and Vice Head of the Office of Sustainable Campus Development, IPB University. He has research experience and expertise in sustainable soil improvement methods and innovative construction materials. Dr. Heri teaches several courses in both undergraduate and master programs, including Soil Mechanics, Stabilisation and Soil Improvement, and Foundation Engineering in the undergraduate program and Advanced Construction Material, Finite Element Method, and Geotechnics in the master program. Since 2020, He has focused on developing innovative materials including calcite precipitation methods for improving problematic soils and plastic waste for construction materials. His mission is to present a sustainable material for soil improvement method that integrates the field of geotechnical, materials, and environmental engineering. He has published more than 50 Scientific papers both of International and National Journal.
